Frequently asked

About wall area.

How do you calculate wall area from a floor plan?+

Wall area = (total wall perimeter × ceiling height) − openings (doors + windows). SiteScope automates this from your plan — you only need to confirm the ceiling height if it's not the default 2.7 m.

Does it count both sides of internal walls?+

By default, SiteScope returns single-sided wall area, which is what painters typically quote. For double-sided (e.g. plastering both faces), multiply by 2 or contact us — we're shipping a per-trade toggle soon.

How accurate is it for paint quoting?+

Directional. Use it to scope a job in minutes; verify on-site before locking in a quote. ±5% refund policy applies.
