How accurate is AI floor plan measurement?

Accepted Answer

AI measurement is directional and relies on printed dimensions or scale on the plan. It's great for quick quoting and budgeting but is not CAD-grade. SiteScope offers a 5% accuracy refund policy — if our estimate is off by more than 5%, we refund the credit.

Can I use this to estimate paint, tile or drywall coverage?

Yes. SiteScope returns wall area, floor area, ceiling area and perimeters separately, so you can use the right surface for each trade — wall area for painters, floor area for tilers, ceiling area for plasterers.
